The IBU has announced it will increase prize money for certain individual races at the IBU World Cups for the 2024/2024 season.
The prize money has increased slightly in all individual races (sprint, pursuit, individual and mass start). The prize fund for each race has been increased from €93,750 to €101,500
1st and 2nd places remain the same, but starting from 3rd place, the cash prizes will be increased by an average of 5 to 8%. The top 30 will still be included in the prize money, The amount won in the Single & mixed relay remains unchanged.
Whoever has the blue jersey (U25) will receive €500 for each race they participate in. There will also be a prize of €2000 for the fastest time set in the pursuit.
